How do I watch?

READ FIRST!

  • All viewers have to purchase a SUBSCRIPTION + STREAMING option to watch all D1Baseball live and on-demand events. See the STEPS section below to learn more

  • Your d1baseball.com reading account CANNOT BE USED to log in to your streaming account on watch.d1baseball.com and vice versa

  • If you are an existing reading subscriber on d1baseball.com that does not mean you automatically get streaming access to watch.d1baseball.com

  • Streaming accounts on watch.d1baseball.com are unique logins that get generated by our system after purchasing a subscription + streaming option from our main website at d1baseball.com

  • You might receive two different welcome emails when becoming a streaming subscriber:

    • The first email comes from d1baseball.com immediately after completing a purchase. The username in that email is for that website only, and is not your streaming account login

    • The second email comes from watch.d1baseball.com to activate your streaming account and new login credentials

STEPS:

  1. Get live stream access: Go to https://d1baseball.com/subscribe/ to subscribe now

  2. Make sure to select one of the subscription + streaming options

  3. After purchasing a subscription, you will soon receive the "Welcome to the D1Baseball Video Platform" email to activate your new streaming account and create a unique password for this website. The welcome email will be sent to the email address provided when purchasing a subscription. Check any spam folders if you do not see the welcome email in your main inbox

If you are having trouble finding the welcome email, please contact support

  4. Click the "Activate your account" link (see example below) provided inside the "Welcome to the D1Baseball Video Platform" email, which will automatically open a new browser tab on your device to create a new password for your account on this website. A reminder to subscribers that this action does not override or replace your existing account on d1baseball.com
  5. After creating a new password, you can now log-in with your new account and start watching!

Casting

Use "Airplay" or 'Mirror" from a Mobile Device to a Smart TV

Some smart devices like Apple and Android devices are able to "cast" to a Smart TV. Casting allows the content being watched on the smart devices screen to be watched on another device, like a Smart TV. To learn more, see one of the links below:

Video playback isn't working, my player shows a black screen

It’s possible that an ad-blocker is interfering with the video player. Disable the ad-blocker and try again. If issues persist, please see the additional troubleshooting steps below.

The video player shows an error "Network Error" or "Decode Error"

This generally occurs when the live stream venue is having internet connectivity issues. Try refreshing the page in a few minutes to see if these issues have been resolved.

Additional troubleshooting steps

  1. Ensure you have a supported browser. View supported browsers and their requirements:
    • Chrome (Version 38 or newer)
    • Firefox (Version 36 or newer)
    • Windows - Microsoft Edge (Version 45 or newer)
    • Mac/iOS - Safari (Version 8.2.5 or newer)
  2. Mobile Device requirements for video playback
    • iPad - 2 and later (iOS9 or newer)
    • iPhone - 5 and later (iOS9 or newer)
    • Android - (Version 5.0 "Lollipop" or newer)
  3. While we support most computers and laptops that use a supported browser on the latest version, we do not officially support Smart TVs, although it may work in some cases. If you're running into an issue watching on a Smart TV, please try casting from a mobile device to your Smart TV, or plug in a computer to the Smart TV by using an HDMI cable.
  4. Check your internet speed to make sure your internet is fast enough for smooth playback. We recommend a minimum internet download speed of 1.5mbps for video-on-demand content and 4mbps for live event content.
    • You can test your internet speed by using a service such as www.speedtest.net. If your download speed is slower, your viewing experience may be degraded. Please note that viewing a live video stream over a wireless connection can be unreliable.
  5. Disable ad-blockers or other browser extensions that may be interfering with the page.
  6. "Hard refresh" the page. This is done by pressing the "Ctrl-F5" keys on Windows or "Cmd-Shift-R" on Mac.
  7. Close all instances of your browser then relaunch the browser and try again.
  8. Clear your browser cache. You can find instructions for clearing your cache here.
  9. If problems persist, it may be a problem at the live stream venue. Please try again later.

Video playback is very slow

There could be a number of causes resulting in slow or interrupted video playback. In general, if you’re connecting over Wi-Fi and experiencing constant rebuffering or other issues during playback, try moving your router to another location and away from other devices that may cause electrical interference.

We recommend the following:

  • Move your wireless router to a more central location of your home.
  • Move your wireless router to an elevated surface such as a desk or on top of a bookshelf.
  • Clear clutter from the vicinity of your wireless router.
